A personal site is one of the more useful things you can have online - somewhere to point people when you want to share who you are and what you do. Whether it is a portfolio, a link page, or a simple landing page, you do not need to code one from scratch. Here is how to build one with OMIU in a few minutes.
1. Open the builder
Go to omiu.me and click "Open builder." You do not need to sign up first. Design your page, try themes, and add blocks before creating an account. Sign up only when you want to save.
2. Add your content
Drag blocks from the left panel into the canvas. A typical personal page has: a text block for your name and a short headline, an image block for your photo, and a links block with buttons to your most important destinations. You can add more as needed.
- Text - headlines, bios, descriptions
- Image - your photo, logo, or any image
- Links - buttons pointing to external URLs
- Social icons - Instagram, LinkedIn, GitHub, X, and more
- Tabs / Accordions - for grouping lots of content cleanly
Each block is editable by clicking on it in the canvas. You can drag blocks to reorder them and adjust settings like padding, text size, and image shape from the properties panel on the right.
3. Pick a theme
Click the theme picker and choose a style. OMIU has 10+ themes that control your background, font, and button style. You can switch themes at any point without losing your content - useful for seeing how your page looks with a completely different aesthetic before committing.
4. Save and share your URL
When your page looks right, sign up and click "Save profile." You will get a permanent URL like omiu.me/yourname. Use it in your Instagram bio, email signature, resume, or LinkedIn. Edit your page anytime - the URL never changes.
Do I need to code anything?
No. Everything is drag-and-drop. You just add blocks, fill in your content, and pick a theme.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan includes one profile, core blocks, and themes. It stays free while OMIU is in alpha.
